The Revenue Auditor I plays a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity and regulatory compliance of Live! Casino & Hotel by accurately reviewing, recording, and reporting revenue from all gaming and nongaming operations. Your attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and ability to analyze complex documentation ensure that all revenue streams are properly accounted for in accordance with company standards and state regulations. Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

  • Responsible for verifying the different revenue streams derived from gaming operations like Video Lottery Terminal Operations, Slot-Jackpots, Table Games, Food and Beverage, Marketing, Main Cage, ATM/TRU Machines and other revenue and documentation as generated by various departments.
  • Issues exception reports for violations of company policies and procedures, Maryland Lottery regulations and Federal and State laws. 
  • Effectively communicates with other departments including upper management, regarding exceptions and other audit related issues.
  • Analyzes and creates spreadsheets, complies with all company policies and procedures, Maryland Lottery regulations and Federal and State laws. 
  • Maintains and adjusts complex Excel based spreadsheets as needed.
  • Audits the issue, retention, and transmittal of Audit Exceptions
  • Audits the issue, retention, and transmittal of W2G's.
  • Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.
  • Trains other auditors on new assignments.
  • Acts as a Team Lead.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

  • Adequate Microsoft Office Skills including strong Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in order to communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational, planning and communication and PC skills.
  • Knowledgeable in creating and analyzing spread sheets or similar data reporting. 
  • Must be a team player. 
  • Ability to work long and varied hours and on shifts, weekends, holidays and special events as needed. 
  • Ability to make independent decisions and recommendations.
  • Must be able to think analytically, have basic math skills and be able to read and interpret spreadsheets. 
Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associates Degree in Accounting or related field is a plus. 
  • At least two (2) years related experience, preferably in the gaming industry.
  • Experience in other financial auditing is required, including but not limited to banking, taxes, corporate revenue, or gaming.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery & Gaming Control Agency.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to perform moderate lifting of 30 lbs. or more. 
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift and reach.  
  • Must be able to read, speak and effectively communicate ideas in English. 
  • Use of stairs and elevators
