Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City is an award-winning gaming destination with more than 675 slot machines, live table game action, first-class amenities, and heart-pounding entertainment. The property's Hard Rock Hotel is a AAA Four Diamond rated hotel; a distinction which only five percent of the more than 28,000 properties approved by AAA achieve. Complementing the hotel and casino are three bars and two restaurants including Fuel American Grill and Main + Abbey, a AAA Three Diamond rated restaurant. Putting the 'Rock' in 'Hard Rock', guests are invited to experience the legends of music by exploring Hard Rock's expansive memorabilia collection with iconic pieces from SLASH to Johnny Cash!
JOB SUMMARY
The incumbent in this position is responsible for reviewing and processing source data to provide accurate and timely entry to accounting systems and sub systems for hotel revenue
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Audit and process source documents in accordance with established departmental procedures to facilitate timely and accurate recording of hotel and related revenue.
  • Initiate the generation of and coordinates the distribution of various hotel system reports.
  • Notify Assistant Manager of Hotel Operations of any potential discrepancies and assists with research and resolution of problems.
  • Familiar with all aspects of Guest Services, including all check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Oversee all close day functions in the front office and that all rooms are checked in and payments are secured. Maintains support documentation for established filing system.
  • Assist all guests during the audit shift.
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Demonstrate proficiency with calculator and computer input terminal. These skills are typically acquired through the completion of a high school degree or equivalent, as well as six months to one-year Front Desk experience preferred. Opera experience preferred.

Must have ability to:
  • Use computer keyboard, 10-key and calculator.
  • Effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.
  • Accurately review and audit relevant information.
