Position Summary

The Sleep Lab Coordinator is responsible for diverse administrative tasks to support sleep lab processes. The Sleep Lab Coordinator will also be responsible for ensuring accurate setup of patients for overnight sleep studies and related diagnostic procedures to evaluate and support the diagnosis of sleep disorders, while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and education. The Sleep Lab Coordinator works collaboratively with physicians, clinical staff, and the sleep clinic leadership team to deliver high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered care. This position plays a vital role in supporting clinical outcomes, operational excellence, and SENTA's commitment to advancing specialty healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and prepare patients for sleep studies, ensuring proper application of electrodes and other monitoring devices in compliance with AASM standards.
  • Maintain and clean equipment according to safety and infection control guidelines.
  • Provide education to patients on use of HST equipment and ensure equipment fits properly at pickup.
  • Educate patients on home and in-lab sleep studies, procedures, duration and expectations.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver high-quality diagnostic care.
  • Assist with scoring sleep studies and creating reports for physician review.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to stay up to date on the latest practices in sleep technology.
  • Identify supply needs.
