Required Hours: PRN Monday thru Saturday, 7pm - 7am

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Independently performing all aspects of diagnostic testing and record scoring of data to ensure a high degree of quality services. Helps less experienced technologists with tasks as needed or as requested by the Polysomnography Coordinator, Director of Neurology Services, or Medical Director.

For non registered:

With the assistance of a Registered Polysomnography Technologist, performing all aspects of diagnostic testing and record scoring to ensure a high degree of quality services.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:High school graduate or equivalent.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:1-3 years experience in Polysomnography, EEG, or Respiratory Therapy. Other health related experience might qualify.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Some college coursework in basic science of sleep medicine preferred.

FOR NON REGISTERED:

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:1-3 years experience in Polysomnography, EEG, or Respiratory Therapy preferred. Other health related experience might qualify.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Some college coursework in basic science or sleep medicine preferred.
