Job description

The Assistant Restaurant Manager at Puckettโ€™s in the Nashville Airport plays a key leadership role in supporting daily restaurant operations inside a fast-paced airport environment. This position is hands-on, floor-focused, and centered on delivering authentic Southern hospitality while ensuring smooth service, strong team performance, and consistent operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Support:
  • Support the Restaurant Manager with daily operations and shift execution.
  • Lead by example with a strong hospitality-first mindset.
  • Help coach, train, and motivate team members.
  • Reinforce accountability, professionalism, and teamwork.
  • Assist with pre-shift meetings and team alignment.
Guest Experience:
  • Deliver warm, genuine Southern hospitality to every guest.
  • Handle guest concerns quickly and professionally.
Operations & Execution:
  • Assist with opening and closing duties.
  • Support smooth floor flow, staffing, and service execution.
  • Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control.
  • Follow all airport compliance and security requirements.
Performance & Compliance:
  • Assist with scheduling, labor, and shift support as needed.
