Nous constituons une equipe innovante et orientee client afin de dispenser une formation acceleree a plus de 150 etudiants par an, tout en assurant qualite et transparence pour notre client principal, NAV CANADA.

Dans ce role, a titre de gestionnaire des operations, Services de la circulation aerienne chez CAE, vous serez le principal point de contact pour les operations du site, en veillant au bon deroulement des activites quotidiennes ainsi qu'a l'amelioration strategique.

Description

  • Agir en tant que principal point de contact pour les operations de formation des Services de la circulation aerienne (ATS), en collaboration avec les parties prenantes internes (installations, securite, approvisionnement, finances)

  • Superviser le centre de formation ATS afin d'assurer des operations quotidiennes efficaces et fluides

  • Gerer une equipe d'environ 20 employes, incluant la planification, la gestion des contrats, l'integration, les processus de paie ainsi que la gestion des talents

  • Soutenir les initiatives de formation de la main-d'uvre et promouvoir une culture d'apprentissage et de developpement continus

  • Surveiller les depenses et les indicateurs operationnels, et fournir des rapports reguliers au responsable du centre de formation et a la haute direction

  • Piloter des initiatives d'amelioration continue en optimisant les processus, en mettant en place des outils numeriques et en identifiant des opportunites de reduction des couts

  • Mettre en place et maintenir des plans d'attenuation des risques, en assurant la conformite aux exigences de securite et aux normes d'audit

  • Coordonner les ressources en appuyant les responsables de formation dans la planification des simulateurs et des salles de classe

Qualifications minimales

  • Diplome d'etudes professionnelles ou techniques

  • Minimum de 5 ans d'experience en gestion de projets impliquant des equipes multidisciplinaires

  • Experience demontree en leadership et en gestion d'equipe

  • Excellentes competences en communication professionnelle

Qualifications privilegiees

  • Experience dans le domaine de l'aviation et/ou des environnements de formation

The new purpose-built Air Traffic Services Training Center was officially inaugurated in January 2025. We are building up a customer-centric and innovative team to deliver accelerated training to over 150 students per year, while ensuring quality and transparency to our anchor customer, NAV CANADA.

In this role, the Operations Manager, Air Traffic Services at CAE, you will act as the lead focal point for the site operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and strategic improvements.

Description

  • Act as the lead focal point for Air Traffic Services (ATS) Training operations, collaborating with internal stakeholders including facilities, security, procurement, and finance

  • Oversee the ATS training facility to ensure efficient and seamless day-to-day operations

  • Manage a team of approximately 20 employees, including responsibilities for scheduling, contracting, onboarding, payment processes, and people management

  • Support workforce training initiatives and promote a culture of continuous learning and development

  • Monitor expenditures and operational metrics, and provide regular reports to the Training Centre Leader and senior management

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing processes, implementing digital tools, and identifying cost-saving opportunities

  • Establish and maintain risk mitigation plans, ensuring compliance with safety requirements and audit standards

  • Coordinate resources by supporting Training Managers in simulator and classroom scheduling

Minimum Qualifications

  • Vocational or technical degree

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects involving cross-functional teams

  • Proven leadership and people management experience

  • Strong professional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in aviation and/or training environments

  • Experience working with operational or training facilities

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French
