Key Responsibilities We Will Trust You With:

The Global SIOP Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading the global Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and business objectives. This role partners cross-functionally with regional leaders in Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to create a unified demand and supply plan that supports revenue, cost, and service targets globally.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Lead the global SIOP process, ensuring consistent cadence, structure, and performance
  • across all regions and three manufacturing facilities located in US, Germany and France.
  • Collaborate with commercial, supply chain, and finance teams to align demand forecasts,
  • production plans, and inventory strategies.
  • Develop and maintain key SIOP metrics (forecast accuracy, inventory turns, customer service
  • levels, capacity utilization, etc.).
  • Facilitate monthly and quarterly SIOP meetings with global and regional leadership to review
  • forecasts, supply constraints, and business risks/opportunities.
  • Drive data integrity and standardization of demand and supply planning tools and processes
  • across regions.
  • Partner with Finance to integrate SIOP outputs into financial forecasting and budgeting cycles.
  • Identify gaps and recommend actions to balance global demand and supply, including capacity, material, and logistics considerations.
  • Support strategic decision-making through scenario planning and what-if analysis.
  • Develop and lead global training and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SIOP maturity and adoption.
  • Work closely with IT or data analytics teams to optimize system functionality (e.g., SAP4Hanna) to support SIOP processes.
  • Developing and setting up KPIs to include forecast accuracy and bias, customer

Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise that matter most for this role:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required (Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain); MBA or APICS/CPIM/PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience: 8 or more years in demand planning, supply chain management or operations planning roles. Proven track record implementing or managing SIOP / S&OP processes at a regional or global level. Experience working in a global, multi-site manufacturing or distribution environment.

Systems: Strong experience with ERP systems; SAP S4/HANA proficiency highly preferred.

Leadership: Proven success leading/managing cross-functional teams and driving change.

Environment: Experience in unionized environments is a plus.

Key Interactions

Internally: Collaborate with Global Procurement, Quality Managers, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, HSE, and Remanufacturing teams. Report directly to the Plant Manager. Lead planners and inventory teams.

Externally: Interact with vendors, logistics providers, and other global supply chain partners to support material availability, lead time reduction, and fulfillment optimization.

Work Environment:

General physical conditions include working in a temperature-controlled office environment with good air quality, adequate lighting and low level of noise. If needed to visit manufacturing facility and/or customer sites, there may be some exposure to higher level noises due to machinery and equipment, exposure to dust and wearing PPE and various uncontrolled temperatures and possible hazardous conditions.

Physical Demands:

Combination of office environment and some travel may be required including domestic and international travel if needed. Frequent sitting. Daily personal computer usage, frequent use of mobile phone.
