Job Title: Operations Cost Analyst

Job Description:

The Operations Cost Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Monthly EAC Process and weekly cost monitoring.  Act as back up for the Bid & Proposal Process (developing bid and coordinating proposal reviews) for Operations.  Candidate should have strong attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Completing monthly EACs with support from Operations Program Management
  • Analysis of cost overruns and weekly labor charging
  • Conduct Unit Cost analysis to ensure standards are in line with run rate
  • Conduct Bi-Weekly Support and Unit Cost Variance analysis and present data to stakeholders
  • Manage the capital tracking process ensuring all databases are maintained and equipment properly tagged
  • Act as back up support for developing estimates for the touch labor assembly, test, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Planning and Control
    • Support entry into the BOE Tool
    • Ensures estimates developed are fully auditable and in full compliance with all government laws and regulations.
    • Utilize learning curve theory in developing proposal unit cost
  • Support the SIOP Monthly Process
  • Identify opportunities to improve data reporting through continuous improvement initiatives (E3)

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and PowerPoint Skills
  • Ability to work with large data sets

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey area is $72,000.00 - $133.500.00.
