Job description

We're seeking a Production Analyst who's ready to put your skills to work on projects that matter - and build a career with a company that's building North America.
Job Title: Production Analyst | Req ID: 17050 | HR Contact: Kyle Jon KEMPEN| Location: Ada Cement Plant OK
ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of this position provides daily, weekly, monthly and yearly production planning, ordering and inventory control of raw materials and fuels, and analysis and verification of plant production, inventories, and consumption of purchased materials to keep in-line with the budget.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • The production analyst will be responsible for a small team to maintain adequate housekeeping and safe condition of one discrete area of the plant.
  • Function as an integral member of the plant management team with a focus on plant performance and continuous improvement. Responsible for maintaining the master data in SAP including daily production reporting, long term planning (resource capacity, and heat factors), and surveying raw material, finished product, and fuel inventories
  • Responsible for Production planning including 24 month plan for logistics; weekly and monthly confirmation and conversion of planned orders to process orders
  • Responsible for process orders management including but not limited to: weekly release of process orders, daily confirmation of process orders daily issuance of Grind Order, clearing of goods movement errors occurring after confirmation, complete process orders monthly, balance physical inventories of cement, clinker, raw meal weekly and all other materials associated with production on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Ensure production vs consumption ratios are correct for all HARP functional areas, raw material extraction, raw material preparation, raw meal preparation and cement clinker factors are correct each month
  • Complete all process order TECO's on a timely basis
  • Ensure the accurate reporting of downtime notifications, use of correct heat factors, completion of downtime notification and confirmations, and creation and execution of process orders
  • Lead completion of Annual Technical Report
  • Assist with production budget development (Mid Term Plan) cost and volumes
  • Complete all necessary inputs into SAP for the budgeting process and verify the data entries into SAP via the BW Reports
  • Become a BW power user (abililty to create specific queries in regards to BW reports)
  • Interface with maintenance on the weekly production/maintenance planning meeting
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Additional Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree
Field of Study Preferred: Process, or Chemical Engineering
Required Work Experience: Understanding of the cement and/or similarly related industry regarding metrics and technical reports
Required Computer and Software Skills: SAP experience and MS Excel experience required
Travel Requirements: Some travel required

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
