Direct Hire / Permanent Position

Overview
We are seeking a Material Planning Analyst to support production and customer delivery through effective material planning, ERP management, and cross-functional coordination. This role is focused on true material planning within a custom OEM manufacturing environment, with a strong preference for experience in electronics manufacturing.

This position works closely with a key customer account and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage material readiness to meet production and delivery commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute day-to-day material planning activities to support production schedules and customer demand
  • Analyze and manage MRP/ERP outputs to ensure accurate supply planning and material availability
  • Coordinate with customers, purchasing, and production teams to ensure clear-to-build status
  • Maintain and update bill of materials (BOMs), item master data, and planning parameters
  • Monitor and track material shortages, excess, and inventory levels; drive corrective actions as needed
  • Generate and manage purchase orders based on demand and forecast requirements
  • Support customer-owned/consigned inventory and material flow
  • Use Excel to analyze data, track metrics, and support reporting needs
  • Identify and resolve data integrity issues within ERP and planning systems
  • Assist with engineering change orders (ECOs), deviations, and new product introductions (NPI)
  • Communicate risks, delays, or supply issues proactively to internal teams and customers

Required Qualifications
  • 1+ year of material planning experience (must be true planning, not purely analytical/reporting roles)
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (electronics or custom OEM strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
  • Experience working directly with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of BOMs, inventory management, and supply planning concepts

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing or EMS environments
  • Exposure to consigned materials or customer-owned inventory models
  • Familiarity with ECOs, NPI, and supply chain risk management

What We’re Looking For
  • A hands-on material planner who can translate demand into actionable supply plans
  • Strong communicator comfortable managing a primary customer relationship
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and execution
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, production-driven environment

Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disabilty, or veteran status
