Job Summary
Arizona Custom Signworks is a family-owned full-service signage and graphics company in North Phoenix, AZ with a new location and brand-new state of the art equipment. We are seeking an experienced sign maker to be our Signage and Graphic Production Manager. 
If you’re an experienced sign maker who has the drive to get fully immersed in ramping up a new business and is ready for the challenge and excitement of taking a new shop to a thriving operation we want to talk to you. 
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, fabricating and installing a variety of signage and graphics ensuring high-quality craftmanship and attention to detail while communicating with clients to ensure their signage and graphic needs are met. This role requires a blend of artistic talent and technical skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while efficiently managing multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate must possess the spirit and drive of an entrepreneur with a “Can Do” attitude.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations on design and materials.
  • Design and create custom signage and graphics using various substrates such as wood, metal, plastic, acrylic and vinyl.
  • Operate sign-making equipment including an HP700 latex printer, plotter/cutter, and laminator.
  • Prepare surfaces for application of graphics and signage.
  • Install signage and graphics at client locations while ensuring proper alignment and attachment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and materials to enhance skills and service offerings.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience as a professional sign maker in design, production and installation.
  • MUST HAVE expertise using Adobe Design Tool Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
  • MUST HAVE expertise with RIP software.
  • MUST HAVE expertise operating a wide format printer, plotter/cutter, and laminator. 
  • Color management and color matching.
  • Vehicle and fleet graphic and wrap installation.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork.
  • Certified Installation professional (3m, Avery, etc.) is a strong advantage.
