1205 Main St Burell Bldg Crown Point, Indiana 46307
The Print Shop Assistant performs and monitors both scheduled and non-recurring print jobs requested by internal customers. The Assistant is trained on and understands how to operate various pieces of printing equipment, including digital presses, binding equipment, folders, and creasers. This position communicates with customers regarding the completion of orders and ships orders, as needed. The Assistant may, also, complete minor equipment maintenance, such as toner or paper changes and resets.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm (NO weekends or holidays.)
  • Store recurring print material in the appropriate bin locations in inventory.
  • Perform minor maintenance on printing equipment to ensure equipment functionality.
  • Order replenishment supplies, subject to the Print Shop Supervisor's approval.
  • Operate and monitor printing equipment to complete print jobs.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • 1 year of work experience required
  • 3 years of Print Shop Operations experience preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in printer operation and basic troubleshooting required
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple software systems required
  • Solid office skills, including organization and professional communication required
