Job description

Are you detail-oriented with manufacturing experience and strong computer skills? We are seeking a Production Support / Label Maker to join our production team on a temporary, full-time assignment. This position offers 40 hours per week, with overtime available as needed. You'll be responsible for creating accurate labels, tags, markers, and signs while supporting production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Create and print labels, tags, markers, and signs according to production specifications.
  • Utilize CorelDRAW and other computer software to generate production labels.
  • Operate equipment including:
    • Trotec Laser Engraver
    • Phoenix Blue-Mark Printer
    • Hellermann Tytan & Panduit Printers
  • Drill, punch, and tap holes in enclosures and plates per job specifications.
  • Perform light assembly and wiring installation to support production.
  • Maintain inventory of labeling materials using the Kan-Ban system.
  • Pull production materials and kits as needed.
  • Transfer materials from inventory to Work-in-Progress (WIP).
  • Assist with additional production support duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience in a production or MRP environment.
  • CorelDRAW experience is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and MRP systems.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Production Management, or a related field.
  • LEAN manufacturing experience.
  • APICS/CPIM certification.
