Title of Position: Quality Control Tech
Position Type: Full-Time; Non-Remote; 2nd Shift (3:00pm-12:00am)
Location: Houston, TX
Reports to: Quality Control Manager
Founded in 2016, Tube Supply provides quality steel tube and bar in alloy, stainless, and carbon for oil and gas applications, including drilling, completions, production, and downhole tools. Our steel tubular and bar products are tailored specifically to meet the demands of the oil and gas industry, including high pressure, high temperature (HPHT) and sour (H2S) well environments. Tube Supply clients are leading oil and gas service companies, OEMs, and manufacturing centers globally.

Responsibilities
• Comply with all HSE, QMS, and corporate polices at Tube Supply
• Perform inspection on outbound orders per OPS-02 (Order Processing and Final Inspection)
• Report any deficiencies to Supervisor, Management, and/or Quality
• Scan and send (via email) inspection reports that result from order processing to the appropriate recipients (i.e. Sales Assistants, Shipping group, Quality dept.)
• Use quality instruments to verify material requirements
• Ensure traceability is maintained on product (description, heat#, lot#, serial#, etc.)
• Inspection of Machined parts requiring stringent straightness verification
• Inspection of material as required by operations
• Manage service and Calibration of all Inspection, Measuring, and Testing Equipment
• Facility up-keep and continual improvement
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications
