Job Description Our client is a leading provider of custom electrical power systems, specializing in switchboards, motor control centers, and automation solutions for industries such as energy, solar, and manufacturing. They are known for delivering high-quality, reliable products and maintaining strong industry standards. They're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to add to their team in the Houston, TX area.

Successful candidates must pass a background check, MVR check and drug screening as a requirement for these positions. Quality Control Inspector Benefits: Hourly rate range: $25-$30/hour depending on experience Set Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Comprehensive benefits package Opportunity for career advancement & growth Quality Control Inspector Responsibilities: Perform visual, dimensional, and basic functional inspections on electrical equipment Inspect components such as switchboards, motor control centers, and control panels for defects or deviations Conduct measurements using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) Perform basic functional checks using tools such as multimeters Verify product compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards Document inspection results and nonconformities within the ERP system Report quality issues to supervisors and support corrective actions with production teams Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure proper documentation and sign-off Assist with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) initiatives as needed Participate in training and continuous improvement efforts Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with company policies Quality Control Inspector Requirements: High school diploma or GED required 6+ months of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related field (electrical preferred) Basic understanding of electrical systems, control panels, or power distribution equipment Familiarity with industry standards (UL, ANSI/NEMA, IEC preferred) Experience using inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, multimeters, etc.) Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies Ability to follow technical drawings and specifications Good documentation and organizational skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends as needed Quality Control Inspector Preferred: Certificate in quality control, electrical technology, or related field Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification OSHA 10 certification #OFI
