Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Quality Inspector for a company based in Sugar Land, Texas. The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting goods to ensure they meet a set of consistent standards. Their duties include performing visual inspections and recording quality issues. Quality Inspector Duties and Responsibilities
• Conducts inspection, testing, and/or screening for defects in Optoelectronic components.
• Uses of microscopes for further inspection and hand picking of small components using tweezers.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs into quality database.
• Keeps measurement equipment operating by following SOPs (standard operating procedures).
Quality Inspector Qualifications and Requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Software/ Hardware Knowledge: Basic computer skills; Data Entry is a plus
• Skills/ Abilities: Ability to use microscope; Steady hands; Need to be able to handle very small components
