Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced L3 SharePoint Administrator to support and administer Microsoft 365 services, with a strong focus on SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business. This role is part of a global operations team and is responsible for advanced incident resolution, request fulfillment, and administrative troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in SharePoint Online administration, strong troubleshooting skills, and working knowledge of the Power Platform in an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
L3 Support & Operations
  • Handle L3-level incidents and service requests related to SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Power Platform, and other Microsoft 365 services.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex SharePoint and OneDrive issues raised by L1/L2 support teams.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
SharePoint Online Administration
  • Manage SharePoint Admin Center operations, including site collection provisioning and configuration.
  • Administer permissions and access controls at tenant, site, and item levels.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues, outages, and service degradations.
  • Support SharePoint site structure, web parts, and governance standards.
OneDrive for Business Administration
  • Administer OneDrive for Business, including user provisioning and policy enforcement.
  • Troubleshoot sync issues, large file uploads, retention, backup, and recovery scenarios.
  • Resolve connectivity and client-side synchronization problems.
Power Platform Support
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power Apps and Power Automate flows integrated with SharePoint.
  • Support operational stability of Power Platform solutions used by business teams.
Microsoft 365 & Identity
  • Support administration tasks within Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
  • Work with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) for identity, access, and permission-related issues.
Process Improvement & Documentation
  • Contribute to operational documentation, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend process or platform improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in SharePoint administration and Microsoft 365 support.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business.
  • Experience with SharePoint Admin Center, site provisioning, and permission management.
  • Deep troubleshooting experience with OneDrive sync, retention, backup, and recovery.
  • Working knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate, particularly SharePoint-connected solutions.
  • Experience with Azure AD (Entra ID) and Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL-based support processes.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred / Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting large enterprise or global M365 environments.
  • Prior exposure to SharePoint 2016 (on-prem) environments.
  • Experience mentoring junior support engineers.
