About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and personable Healthcare IT Support Specialist to join our internal IT team. This role provides hands-on technical support to clinical and administrative staff across a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, communicating well with end users, and can independently troubleshoot a wide range of hardware, software, and workflow-related issues. Experience supporting healthcare organizations, EMR/EHR systems, or clinical operations is highly preferred.

This position supports both onsite and remote users across multiple clinic locations throughout California. Candidates must be willing and able to travel periodically to clinic locations as needed to provide onsite technical support and assist with operational IT needs.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for onsite and remote users in clinical and administrative environments
  • Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, phones, and peripheral devices
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, and Office
  • Assist with user account administration, onboarding/offboarding, password resets, Microsoft 365 access management, and endpoint provisioning in hybrid Windows environments
  • Support Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) user administration and access management tasks
  • Troubleshoot EMR/EHR-related issues and work directly with clinical staff to resolve workflow interruptions
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when appropriate
  • Assist with workstation deployments, imaging, inventory tracking, and equipment setup
  • Document support requests and resolutions clearly and professionally
  • Travel to clinic locations throughout California as needed to support users and assist with onsite IT operations
  • Support multiple office locations and remote users as needed
  • Maintain professionalism and strong customer service in a healthcare setting

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 to 4 years of IT support or technical support experience
  • Experience supporting healthcare environments strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR platforms preferred
  • Experience with NextGen Office, HealthFusion, or similar systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and hybrid Microsoft 365 environments
  • Experience supporting Windows domain-joined devices and user account administration
  • Understanding of printers, scanners, VPN connectivity, and basic networking concepts
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting multi-site environments is a plus
  • Ability and willingness to travel to clinic locations throughout California when needed
  • Must have reliable personal transportation for travel between clinic locations
  • Mileage reimbursement provided for approved work-related travel
