Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Job Summary:
The Information Technology Intern provides hands-on technical support and administrative assistance to the IT department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across a multi-site environment. Working under the direction of the IT Director, this role supports end users, assists with device management, and contributes to ongoing IT projects. This position is designed to provide real-world experience in IT support, systems management, and business technology operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, dependable, and able to effectively support both technical systems and end users.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with setup, deployment, and maintenance of computers, tablets, and mobile devices (Windows, iPads, Android).
  • Provide day-to-day end user support, including password resets, access issues, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Manage and respond to IT support tickets through Jira Service Management.
  • Support Microsoft 365 environment, including user accounts, Teams, SharePoint, and email-related tasks.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, including account setup, device preparation, and access assignment.
  • Maintain and update asset inventory and equipment tracking.
  • Troubleshoot basic network and connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, phones, and VPN.
  • Assist with software rollouts and other IT improvement projects.
  • Document processes and maintain organized IT documentation.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in an Information Technology or related program.
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint preferred).
  • General understanding of computers, mobile devices, and workplace technology.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
