About the Role: Service Manager

As a Service Manager, you'll join the maintenance team and ensure our communities meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and appearance. This role is perfect for a hands-on person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Leadership

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of service requests
  • Assist in the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, scheduling vendors, and quality checks
  • Maintain inventory control and ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and supplies

Preventive Maintenance & Safety

  • Complete preventive maintenance service requirements
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety policies, and risk management procedures
  • Maintain property inspections to identify and resolve safety concerns to the Service Manager

Grounds & Common Areas

  • Maintain cleanliness and curb appeal of grounds, amenities, and common areas
  • Perform general upkeep tasks such as pressure washing, painting, and trash removal

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in property maintenance or similar role
  • Technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
  • EPA certifications (Type I & II or Universal) & CPO required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance and work in all weather conditions
