Description
We have a company seeking a person with CNC experience who possesses a strong mechanical / electrical background to learn to install, troubleshoot and repair CNC Swiss Lathes, CNC Lathes and Machining Centers. This includes Servo and Servo and Spindle Drive Systems, CNC Systems, Electronic/Electrical/PLC Systems, Pneumatic/Hydraulic Systems, Mechanical Systems, Measurement and Adjustment of Machine Tool Geometries. You will be home based or report to the office in Warsaw, Indiana for daily travel and overnight travel to customer locations in Indiana and Michigan. Performs Service tasks, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in any Service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, engineering and consulting, advanced services, extensions, upgrades and retrofits, end of life services, replacements, etc.) Additional responsibilities include:
  • Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot and repair CNC machine tools and controls.
  • Identify and replace parts as necessary. Test and make adjustments.
  • Communicate with the customer to determine and troubleshoot machine problem.
  • Ability & desire to work independently.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Complete all required paperwork and/or data entry in a timely manner.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • 5 years of experience with CNC tools.
  • Experience with CNC Machine Tools or Swiss Turning Centers
  • Current drivers license and clean driving record
