As one of the nation’s largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions we are expanding our staff and seeking a Service Coordinator - Level I to join the National Accounts - Dallas, TX team.


As a Service Coordinator - Level I you will be responsible for opening, dispatching and maintaining service work orders within SLA requirements. The ideal candidate will have mature customer service skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and be proficient in Excel and Outlook. We are looking for career minded candidates who are willing to learn and grow with the company.

Job duties

  • Enter and dispatch work orders.
  • Ensure that work orders have been received by subcontractors and verify the scheduled time and date of the work.
  • Call subcontractors 24 hours after the scheduled completion date to verify completion or update the status.
  • Enter accurate and complete notes in the system regarding correspondence with customers and subcontractors.
  • Act on all incoming phone calls and faxes.
  • Closing all service calls in the system when work is complete.
  • Update customer web-based portals.
  • Acquire necessary materials in order to fully complete the job.
  • Effectively manage the dashboard and maintain customer as well as FSG SLA requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in call center environment - multiple phones lines and customer service.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to pass drug and background screen.
  • Ability to multitask while staying organized.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Positive customer service skills
  • Experience in lighting and electrical a plus!
