What is community staffing?

Community staffing refers to the process of recruiting, hiring, and managing staff members who work directly within a specific community or for community-focused organizations. This approach prioritizes hiring individuals who are familiar with or part of the community they serve, which helps ensure culturally sensitive and effective service delivery. Community staffing is often used by nonprofits, social service agencies, and healthcare organizations to better address the unique needs of diverse populations. It also helps build trust and stronger relationships between organizations and the communities they support.
