Job description

Job Title: Workday Reporting Analyst
Location: Remote
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Reporting Analyst to join our Workday team during
the critical go-live phase of our HR and Payroll implementation. The analyst will play a key role
in supporting audit, compliance, and leadership reporting needs across a large, unionized health
system. This role requires strong knowledge of Workday reporting tools, attention to detail, and
the ability to translate business needs into effective Workday reports and dashboards.
Note:
UKG and Implementation experience
Healthcare Experience is preferable
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the Workday functional teams to develop, execute, and refine audit and
compliance reports to ensure data accuracy during and post go-live.
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and operational leadership to gather reporting
requirements and deliver insightful and actionable reports in Workday.
Build and customize Workday reports (including advanced, matrix, composite, and
dashboard reports) to support real-time data visibility for leaders and managers.
Assist in validating data and reconciling discrepancies through targeted audit reporting
across HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Compensation modules.
Provide ad-hoc reporting support for go-live activities, issue resolution, and post go-
live stabilization.
Ensure that all reports follow data security and privacy standards, particularly in relation
to union-specific employment structures.
Work cross-functionally to support the development of KPIs, operational dashboards,
and data extracts for business stakeholders.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in Workday Reporting (HCM and Payroll reporting experience
strongly preferred).
Proven ability to build Workday custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards.
Strong knowledge of Workday Report Writer, Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports,
Composite Reports, and Discovery Boards.
Experience supporting Workday HR/Payroll implementations or major upgrades,
preferably in a unionized environment.
Understanding of HR, Payroll, and Compliance reporting standards in healthcare or
similarly complex organizations.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with ability to interact effectively with non-technical
stakeholders.
