Role: Senior Workday Analyst
Location: Houston (Fully Onsite)
Pay Range: $110,000 - $130,000 / year

Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Workday HRIS Analyst to support and enhance Workday Time Tracking, Absence, Leave, and Scheduling functionality within a complex enterprise environment. This is a techno-functional role requiring deep configuration expertise, strong business process knowledge, and the ability to partner closely with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders.
This individual will serve as a subject matter expert for Workday Time Tracking and related modules, supporting ongoing enhancements, troubleshooting, reporting, testing, and optimization efforts. The organization is currently in the midst of a transition from ADP Time & Attendance to Workday, making prior implementation or migration experience highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary Workday SME for Time Tracking, Absence, Leave, and Scheduling.
  • Configure and maintain Workday business processes, eligibility rules, time calculations, accruals, schedules, and related functionality.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and business teams to gather requirements, evaluate impacts, and implement system enhancements.
  • Support the ongoing migration and optimization of timekeeping processes from ADP Time & Attendance into Workday.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Workday configuration and functional issues.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Workday reports and dashboards, including both delivered and custom reports.
  • Conduct impact assessments, regression testing, and user acceptance testing for Workday's biannual releases.
  • Document configurations, business processes, testing results, and system changes.
  • Provide production support and guidance to stakeholders regarding Workday functionality and best practices.
  • Recommend process improvements and system enhancements to improve user experience and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Workday HRIS experience with significant hands-on configuration responsibilities.
  • Deep expertise in:
    • Workday Time Tracking
    • Workday Absence
    • Workday Leave Administration
    • Workday Scheduling
  • Strong understanding of payroll-related time tracking processes (PATT).
  • Experience configuring time calculations, work schedules, accruals, eligibility rules, and leave plans.
  • Experience supporting Workday testing efforts, including regression testing and release validation.
  • Advanced Workday reporting experience, including:
    • Standard delivered reports
    • Custom reports
    • Report Writer
    • Calculated fields
  • Ability to work independently as a functional SME and provide guidance to stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into Workday solutions.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Workday Time Tracking Certification.
  • Experience supporting or leading migrations from ADP eTime, ADP Workforce Manager, or other timekeeping platforms into Workday.
  • Experience with Workday Payroll-related processes.
  • Experience in large enterprise environments with complex workforce populations.
  • Additional Workday certifications in Absence, HCM, or Payroll.
