Job description

Overview

Provide administrative support to multiple underwriters, including monitoring email correspondence, and completing administrative tasks to expedite the underwriting process. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.

This position is a hybrid work schedule for 4 days in office 1 day remote in our Irvine, CA office

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Performs underwriting support associated with information gathering and rating of new business, renewals and mid-term changes.

Provides policy binder preparation/processing instruction for issuance as instructed by underwriter for new and renewal business.

Reviews and provides instruction to processing department for endorsement requests as instructed by underwriter.

Completes Loss Control Inspection ordering instructed by underwriter.

Identifies renewal solicitation/cross sell opportunities.

Provides instruction to processing department for new and renewal accounts.

Fulfills agency requests for, loss runs, copies of policies, copies of invoicing, etc.

Provides customer service support of general questions regarding renewal status, endorsement status, cancellation status, billing inquires, commission questions, etc.)

May be required to work overtime as assigned.

Keeps current with market trends and demands.

Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Required:

3+ years of insurance industry experience

General knowledge of Commercial Workers' Compensation, Property, General Liability, Auto and Umbrella.

Analytical skills to identify, gather and organize information

Must be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced atmosphere

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and One Note)
