Job description

Manager, Corporate Strategy & Portfolio Management

Whirlpool Corporation is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Manager, Corporate Strategy & Portfolio Management. This is an onsite role and will be located in Benton Harbor, MI. A comprehensive relocation package is available for eligible candidates.

The Strategy & Portfolio Management team is aligned with the C-suite at Whirlpool and drives initiatives in three major areas: (i) oversight of Whirlpool's current and legacy minority interests in Europe, China, and India; (ii) support in strategic center activities, including but not limited to Board materials, senior leadership materials, and select strategic projects; and (iii) management of competitive intelligence activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with day-to-day management of one of Whirlpool's minority interests
  • Build recurring financial reports and update forecasts for Portfolio
  • Own 2-3 quarterly competitive intelligence reports to send to senior leadership
  • Assist, as needed, with creation of Board, Senior Leader, or other Executive Committee materials
  • Support, as needed, with any M&A transactions
  • Limited travel < 10%

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of Business Analyst / Associate experience
  • 2+ years of experience in project management or change management

Preferred skills and experiences:

  • MBA
  • Experience in management consulting, investment banking, or private equity
  • Communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience delivering on short time frames and commitment to meeting deadlines
  • International experience (personal or professional)
