Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to support a government customer mission in Northern Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain mission-critical collaboration and knowledge management solutions that directly support national security objectives.
The ideal candidate is a technically strong developer with expertise in SharePoint technologies, Microsoft development frameworks, and enterprise application development. You will work closely with mission stakeholders to build scalable solutions, enhance user experiences, and deliver innovative capabilities within a secure environment.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements and develop SharePoint-based solutions that meet mission needs.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain custom SharePoint applications, web parts, workflows, and enterprise collaboration tools.
  • Configure and customize SharePoint environments to support business processes and operational requirements.
  • Develop new web components and applications utilizing C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework technologies, XML, SQL Server, and related technologies.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
  • Extend SharePoint functionality through custom forms, workflows, web parts, and application integrations.
  • Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure application reliability and performance.
  • Manage SharePoint server farms, including administration, configuration, and optimization activities.
  • Administer user permissions, access controls, and security configurations.
  • Monitor system health and resolve software, application, and performance issues.
  • Maintain and update existing SharePoint environments and applications to ensure continued operational effectiveness.

Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with a relevant polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field and 12 years of relevant experience; Master's degree and 10 years of experience; or PhD and 7 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining SharePoint-based applications and solutions.
  • Extensive experience with C#, ASP.NET, and Microsoft .NET Framework technologies.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, administration, and development best practices.
  • Experience with SQL Server and database-driven application development.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, and web services.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex software and application issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Target Salary Range
$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
