Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Database Analyst/Programmer is expected to be able to accomplish the following:

  • Defines and oversees database organizations, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation.  
  • Provides technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of a data base environment.  
  • Advises applications development staff and users on data-based solutions to business problems, data architectures, data base management system facilities and capabilities, and the operation and tuning of data bases.  
  • Ensures economic and efficient availability of data within adequate safeguards.  
  • Designs and implements databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.   
  • Uses data mapping, data mining, and data transformational analysis tools to design and develop databases.  
  • Determines data storage and optimum storage requirements.   
  • Prepares system requirements, source analysis, and process analyses and design throughout the database implementation. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance
  • BS, 5-7 years of relevant experience; MS, 3-5 years; PhD, 0-3 years
  • One or more of the following DoD 8570/8140 certifications:
    • CompTIA Security+
    • CompTIA CySA+
    • SSCP

We are seeking a Senior Database Analyst/Programmer to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency's Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III). The Database Analyst/Programmer designs, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates and installs database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation, and configuration management.

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00. The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.  The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
