Job Title: Sr. Product Design Engineer

Location: Fremont, California

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Development of Semiconductor capital equipment
  • Chamber architecture & design experience
  • Ex: Chamber design to process performance optimization
  • Ex: Electrode design for uniform processing
  • Ex: Gas/liquid flow optimization for process tuning
  • Analytical leadership from conception through design & testing
  • Modeling and predictive analysis for leading edge technologies
  • Technology leadership to guide engineering teams through complex design tradeoff analysis
  • Customer success orientation - influencing & communication for new product & performance improvement
  • IP conceptualization & experimentation
  • Chamber Design (thermal, deposition, cleaning, etching, etc.)


Qualifications

  • MS or PHD degrees in Physics, Engineering, Material Science - or other applicable technical degrees or experience
  • 6+ years of capital equipment & chamber design experience
  • Experience with 1) vacuum system 2) thermal analysis 3) flow dynamics
  • Team oriented problem solver, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Hands on orientation to lab experimentation


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience Semiconductor Processes such as Etch, CVD, PVD, RTP, Advanced Packaging
  • Strong IP credentials
  • Experience with tuning & troubleshooting process chambers & systems
  • Experience with CAD Systems (SolidWorks & PDM Vault Preferred)


Travel Information:

  • Position requires 10 % travel
