Salary range: $217,236.65 - $280,000.00. Equity, bonus and/or commission eligible.

Role
Vice President, Product Design โ lead enterprise-scale design across the product portfolio, evolve the organization toward an AI-forward future, and elevate design as a proactive strategic partner to Product and Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Design leadership & transformation
- Evolve design from a reactive service model to a proactive, productโshaping partner;
- Establish operating models across design, research, design systems, and design operations;
- Drive prioritization, accountability, and delivery rigor.
- Enterprise design systems
- Build and scale a unified, enterpriseโwide design system that improves consistency, reduces fragmentation, and accelerates delivery across products and teams.
- AIโforward design
- Integrate AI into design workflows, prototyping, and experimentation;
- Apply experience designing and shipping AIโenabled products;
- Help define how AI accelerates experience development.
- Product & engineering partnership
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering leadership;
- Elevate designโs role in roadmap planning, experience strategy, and solution development;
- Strengthen the PMโDesignโEngineering triad across product teams.
- Customer engagement & prototyping
- Increase early customer involvement through design partner groups and rapid experimentation;
- Emphasize prototyping to deโrisk concepts and accelerate learning;
- Improve adoption and engagement through stronger experience design.
- People leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a large design organization;
- Balance handsโon leadership with organizationโbuilding and talent development;
- Influence across teams with conviction, collaboration, and cultural sensitivity.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience leading product design in complex, enterprise environments;
- Proven ability to partner with Product and Engineering leaders to define vision and deliver intuitive, scalable experiences across sophisticated platforms;
- Former handsโon designer who has progressed into senior design leadership;
- Proven track record transforming design organizations and establishing design as a strategic capability;
- Experience operating at enterprise scale, with an understanding of enterprise pace, constraints, and risk;
- Deep experience building and scaling design systems;
- Practical experience applying AI to design and product workflows (experience designing and shipping AIโenabled products preferred);
- Strong, pragmatic leader with conviction, presence, collaboration, and cultural awareness; coachable, impactโoriented, and executionโfocused;
- Open to candidates with blended backgrounds in design and product management; industryโspecific experience helpful but not required.
