Job description

Role: Senior Producer

Location: Baltimore, Maryland

The Opportunity:

This is an opportunity to join OLIVER's dedicated in-house studio embedded with a leading healthcare education institution as Senior Producer, leading video production for a high-volume, AI-augmented creative studio serving 100,000+ students across higher education and healthcare training programs.

Based in Baltimore, you'll oversee all video production activity across the studio - from traditional live-action production to GenAI video creation. The studio's approach combines insight intelligence, AI creative, and human-in-the-loop oversight to produce client-ready GenAI content. You'll lead a nearshore production team in Mexico City and partner closely with the Associate Creative Director to ensure every video is brand-precise, production-efficient, and emotionally resonant across a large, multi-brand portfolio of students, professionals, and enterprise audiences across the healthcare education sector.

We support flexible working and are open to different arrangements. We offer reasonable adjustments throughout the process.

About the role:

The Senior Producer is responsible for planning, production, and delivery of all video content across the studio. You manage production budgets, supplier relationships, and the Mexico City-based video team - including Producers, a Video Editing Lead, and Motion Designers - ensuring every project is executed and delivered to brief, on time, and within budget.

What you will be doing:
  • Lead all video and motion production, including traditional live-action, motion design, and GenAI video generation
  • Manage and develop a nearshore video production team in Mexico City
  • Build and manage project- and workstream-level production budgets, covering cost estimation, purchase orders, supplier negotiation, and reconciliation
  • Source and manage production partners, freelancers, and specialist suppliers; negotiate rates and drive cost efficiency without compromising quality
  • Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring all video projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
  • Partner with the Associate Creative Director to translate creative direction into production-ready briefs and execution plans
  • Lead the integration of GenAI video tools into the studio's production workflow, using Share of Model and social listening to inform scripts, translating insights into 30-second video concepts, and developing visual storyboards through multiple rounds of script refinement
  • Work within OMG to track production progress, manage resource utilisation, and report on project status and spend
  • Support the studio's onboarding: build production playbooks, establish workflows, and transfer institutional knowledge during the transition period

Budget and Production Management

Manage project- and workstream-level production budgets, including cost estimation, supplier negotiation, purchase orders, and reconciliation. Drive cost efficiency; flag budget risks early.

What you need to be great in this role:
  • Proven experience producing video content across a range of formats - live-action, motion, animation, and/or social video
  • Experience managing production budgets, supplier relationships, and production teams
  • Familiarity with GenAI video tools (Runway, Pencil's film generation capability, or similar) and comfort with AI-assisted production workflows
  • Experience managing remote or nearshore production teams is a strong advantage
  • Knowledge of higher education or healthcare marketing is a meaningful differentiator
  • Comfort working in structured workflow environments; experience with OMG or similar project management systems is advantageous
  • Advanced use of GenAI video tools to enhance production output and efficiency
  • Experience designing or executing AI-assisted video production workflows, combining insight intelligence, AI creative, and human-in-the-loop oversight
  • Ability to train production team members on effective AI tool usage and quality benchmarking
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $97,750.00 to $109,250.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER's total compensation package.
