About the Role

A leading independent insurance agency is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Marketing Representative to join its growing Commercial Lines team. This individual will be responsible for managing marketing efforts for new and renewal business, developing competitive coverage solutions, and maintaining strong carrier relationships.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, collaboration, and client satisfaction are top priorities.


Key Responsibilities:


Client Account Management

  • Manage renewal marketing, comparisons, proposals, and binding for a designated book of commercial accounts.
  • Conduct new business marketing by identifying competitive carriers and coverage options that align with client needs.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with underwriters across multiple A-rated insurance carriers.
  • Serve as a marketing resource and liaison for Risk Consultants and Client Specialists.


Marketing Team Support


  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance client experience and marketing efficiency.
  • Assist with training and quality control within the marketing department.
  • Provide thought leadership, insights, and support on special projects.
  • Serve as coverage for other marketing representatives as needed.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel required).
  • Experience with Applied Epic strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
