Job description

Title: Technical Lead - Java (Redis + Lua Scripts)
Client: DELL IT - Periscope
Location: Austin, TX (100% Onsite)
Experience: 8+ Years
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade applications using Core Java (JDK 17)
  • Architect and implement modular and plugin-based systems
  • Develop and optimize solutions using Redis (including Lua scripting)
  • Work with relational (Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver features
  • Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and testing
  • Drive performance tuning, scalability, and reliability improvements
  • Participate in CI/CD processes and automation pipelines
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 8+ years of strong hands-on experience in Core Java development
  • Proven expertise in JDK 17 and modern Java features
  • Experience with plugin architecture / modular system design
  • Strong working knowledge of Redis and Lua scripting
  • Experience with Oracle (SQL) and MongoDB (NoSQL)
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
