Title: Electrical Foreman

Employer: DisplayMax, Inc.

Reports To: Electrical Project Manager

Effective Date: 8/26/2026

Location: Travel

Pay: Salary/Non-Exempt

Summary: DisplayMax is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead large-scale commercial electrical projects while traveling throughout Michigan and other states as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the on-site subject expert and represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Lead a group of less experienced electricians to complete commercial lighting and power upgrades.
  • Meet with electrical inspectors, fire marshals, and other AHJ staff on walk through of completed projects.
  • Provide communication with the Electrical Project Manager on project conditions, equipment, labor and material needs, change orders, etc.
  • Use of foresight to plan out execution of project, and assist Electrical Project Manager in building schedule.
  • Work through unexpected project complications to achieve low impact, positive results.
  • Maintain Electrical License(s) required for the position.
  • Any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization’s values.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Ability to lead and grow a team of apprentices, and entry level journeymen on large scale commercial projects.
  • Ability to accurately forecast labor, material, and equipment needs as projects develop.
  • Ability to use company technology to submit completion forms, photos, and other requirements.
  • Track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
  • Role is customer facing and the first and last representative in the field to our customer.
  • Excellent and timely communication skills.
  • Commercial generator service and installation experience a plus.
  • Large scale LED project leadership experience desired.
  • Safety and workmanship is number one priority.


Qualifications:

  • State of Michigan Journeyman Electrician License required-additional states welcomed!
  • 10+ Years of commercial electrical service/construction experience
  • Ability to travel/stay out of town for one-week intervals.
  • Excellent driving record with the ability to safely tow scissor lift/job trailers.
