Senior Electrical Project Manager

Bryan Electric, Inc. (Commercial Construction -Electrical Contractor) is a growing, family-oriented electrical contractor established in 2009, licensed in 32 states and specializing in commercial electrical construction projects nationwide. We deliver high-quality work across retail construction, higher education, and large distribution centers. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our team in Alpharetta, GA, offering long-term career growth and stability.

Location: Alpharetta, GA (On-site, 5 days/week)
Travel: Up to 50% (nationwide project sites)

Job Overview

The Senior Electrical Project Manager will lead multiple large-scale commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout. This role is responsible for managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project teams while ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Ideal candidates have extensive experience in electrical contracting, commercial construction project management, and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full lifecycle of commercial electrical construction projects (preconstruction, estimating, execution, closeout)

  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously with responsibility for budget, schedule, quality control, and jobsite safety

  • Develop project schedules, cost estimates, manpower plans, and project execution strategies

  • Lead project teams including project managers, superintendents, foremen, and electricians

  • Coordinate with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, and vendors

  • Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor agreements

  • Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documents

  • Monitor project costs, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability

  • Prepare and approve pay applications, billing, and project closeout documentation

  • Ensure compliance with NEC codes, OSHA regulations, and safety standards

  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance development to team members

  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide executive-level project updates

Required Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction

  • Experience as a Senior Project Manager, Electrical Project Manager, or Lead Project Manager

  • Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code), electrical systems, and commercial construction practices

  • Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects, budgets, and schedules

  • Experience managing subcontractors, contracts, and multi-site projects

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar preferred)

  • Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction documents

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with retail construction, distribution centers, or higher education projects

  • Multi-state or nationwide project management experience

  • Experience with cost control, forecasting, and construction accounting

  • Background in electrical contracting or commercial electrical projects
