Job description

We are looking for a Senior Desktop Support Technician to provide responsive technical assistance for employees in Frisco, Texas. This position supports both in-person and remote users within a Microsoft 365 and Azure-based environment, helping maintain reliable day-to-day technology operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable resolving desktop, software, and basic connectivity issues while also contributing ideas for process improvement through scripting and automation.


Responsibilities:

• Deliver timely deskside and remote support for end users, addressing hardware, software, and access-related issues across the organization.

• Prepare, configure, and deploy workstations and devices to ensure employees have secure and functional technology from day one.

• Diagnose and resolve problems involving Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 applications, and basic network connectivity.

• Manage and update service desk tickets with clear documentation, accurate status tracking, and appropriate follow-up.

• Support user account administration and permissions tasks within Active Directory and related enterprise systems.

• Use PowerShell and other scripting methods to streamline repetitive support activities and improve operational efficiency.

• Assist with troubleshooting and maintaining devices in a cloud-connected environment built on Microsoft 365 Enterprise and Azure services.

• Contribute to team effectiveness by sharing knowledge, demonstrating initiative, and taking on increasing responsibility as opportunities arise.

• Hands-on experience providing desktop or help desk support for both onsite and remote end users.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and general Microsoft Windows administration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Enterprise tools and common end-user support scenarios.
• Experience using Active Directory for account support, access updates, and user administration.
• Ability to troubleshoot software issues, device problems, and basic networking concerns in a structured manner.
