We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to support the commercial lending function for our banking division, The Sr. Commercial Credit Analyst will focus on underwriting and ongoing credit analysis across CRE, C amp;I, and private equity-backed transactions, while ensuring compliance with loan policy and regulations. A Bachelor’s degree is required, along with 3 years of experience working in commercial credit.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform detailed financial statement analysis and spreading using LoanVantage
  • Evaluate creditworthiness across CRE, C amp;I and Private Equity-backed transactions
  • Prepare comprehensive credit memos for new loans, renewals and modification requests
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers on deal evaluation and structuring
  • Monitor loan portfolios, including renewals, covenant compliance and risk ratings
  • Engage appraisers for CRE deals and review appraisals ordered
  • Ensure adherence to loan policy and regulatory requirements; identify and escalate emerging risks proactively
  • Participate in Loan Committee meetings and present analysis as needed
  • Maintain documentation and support credit-related projects and reporting
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3-5 years of commercial credit analyst experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; finance, accounting or economics majors preferred
  • Experience with CRE, C amp;I and Private Equity sponsored-backed transactions preferred
  • Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft applications
  • Strong financial statement analysis and cash flow modeling skills
  • Experience preparing credit memos and underwriting recommendations
