Commercial Credit Analyst
Pima Federal Credit Union of Tucson, AZ is looking to hire a full-time Commercial Credit Analyst. COMMERCIAL CREDIT ANALYST POSITION
Our Commercial Credit Analyst is responsible for supporting the Commercial Lending Department to underwrite new commercial real estate loan originations, complete timely annual reviews of existing commercial real estate loans, and develop and update timely reports specific to the commercial lending portfolio. Collaborate closely with commercial lenders and other credit union teams to maintain a high-quality commercial loan standards in alignment with the mission, vision, and shared values of the credit union.
Job duties include evaluating financial statements, historical trends, projections, management performance, industry conditions, cash flow, capital structure, and collateral. The Commercial Credit Analyst will prepare, review, and analyze the creditworthiness of commercial loan applications, renewals, and modifications while ensuring loan requests comply with lending policies and regulatory guidelines. This role partners closely with commercial lenders to structure loan requests and obtain necessary documentation. Attention to detail is critical as the analyst monitors loan performance, supports credit reviews, and assists in preparing credit presentations for internal review. In addition, the role supports the day-to-day operations of the Commercial Lending Department.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A COMMERCIAL CREDIT ANALYST
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field; equivalent work experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Three or more years of applicable work experience in the financial services industry.
  • Basic understanding of accounting, tax returns, and financial statements.
  • Intermediate level proficiency with computers and software applications including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Two years of commercial lending experience preferred.
