Pay: $110,000-$120,000 + bonus / year
Beverage Program Management:
  • Maintain and update the beverage menu regularly, considering market trends, guests' preferences, and seasonal offerings.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing beverage supplies.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient cost control measures are in place to optimize profitability in restaurant and banquets.
  • Uphold all beverage laws and responsible alcohol service standards.
  • Ensure accurate inventory operations that include weekly purchasing budgets that include banquet operations.
  • Train and educate the staff on beverage knowledge, service techniques, and proper pouring and presentation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development among the beverage team.
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional beverage service and quality.
  • Monitor guest feedback and reviews related to the beverage program, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious food and beverage pairings that enhance the overall guest experience.

Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in managing beverage programs in upscale high volume (over $30MM) dining establishments.
  • Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, including current trends and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to train and mentor staff effectively.
  • Proficient in inventory management and cost control techniques.
  • Understanding of local regulations and compliance related to beverage service.
  • Passion for providing excellent guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Experience:
  • Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage service procedures, strong background in hospitality in a full-service, upscale high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Innovative with an advanced knowledge of spirits, wines, craft cocktails and overall mixology.
  • 3 years' related experience as General Manager, Beverage Manager or Beverage Director, or similar role in an upscale, high-volume restaurant/bar/lounge environment
