About The Company:

Our client is a growing publicly traded organization seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee corporate accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.

Job Description:

The Senior Accounting Manager will lead key accounting functions, support the monthly and quarterly close process, ensure compliance with internal controls, and partner with cross-functional teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounting for fixed assets, leases, prepaid expenses, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
  • Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting schedules.
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
  • Prepare financial analysis, variance reporting, and management reporting packages.
  • Support SOX compliance, audits, and internal control initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Operations, and other business partners.
  • Mentor and develop accounting team members while driving process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a public company environment.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Experience with ERP systems and accounting automation tools.
