Job description

We’re partnering with a patient-centered neurology practice seeking a Patient Services Representative to support front office operations and patient coordination. This role is ideal for someone who brings professionalism, compassion, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical setting.


What You’ll Be Doing

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing a welcoming and professional experience

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments

• Verify patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and required documentation

• Obtain prior authorizations for visits, procedures, imaging, and medications

• Collect copays and assist with basic billing inquiries

• Manage incoming calls, faxes, and medical record requests

• Scan and upload documentation into the EHR system

• Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow-up communication


What Your Work History Should Show

• 1–2 years of medical office or healthcare experience

• Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations

• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office
