Responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Specialist

  • Oversee and review all AP, AR, and Payroll functions
  • Hands on with accounting processes including all journal entries and reconciliations
  • The Senior Accounting Specialist will be responsible for the cash disbursements
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting

Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Accounting Specialist

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related
  • Experience working with a municipality, nonprofit, or governmental entity is preferred
  • Hands on with month end accounting
