Position: Senior Accountant (Part-Time)
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Salary: $70,000 annually (part-time equivalent, based on experience and schedule)

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in a part-time remote role. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with invoice coding, accounts payable, vendor management, and financial review processes. This position requires an organized professional who can work independently while maintaining accuracy and strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Code and review vendor invoices for accuracy and proper general ledger allocation.
  • Review and process accounts payable transactions in a timely manner.
  • Manage vendor records and maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding items.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to obtain invoice approvals and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare reports and provide recommendations to improve AP processes.
