Job Description

SUMMARY: 

The Sales Support Specialist will provide support to Paragon Technical's sales engineers, principals, distributors, and customers in a variety of capacities described below. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Build great relationships with internal teams, customers, distributors and principals.

Closely work with sales teams and proactively seek any opportunity to support them with all business related activities.

Enter sample orders and track to ensure timely delivery of customer samples.

Analysis of POS and first time buy reports to generate new opportunities.

Enter quote requests and provide pricing to customers and distributors.

Manage backlog for customers to ensure timely delivery and lead-time compliance.  

Enter and track commission splits.

Entry and maintenance of sales opportunities into CRM tools including Salesforce.com, ModelN, Google DOCs, Excel (Pivots), etc.

Report generation and analysis using CRM tools and commission analysis tools (Empowering)

Proficiency with ModelN, Salesforce.com, and Excel OR ability to learn systems quickly

Organizational skills 

Strong communication skills 

Attention to detail 

Ability to prioritize projects and deliverables 

Bachelor's Degree or 2-4 years of applicable experience
