Description of the Position (Purpose of the Position):
The Lion's Pause Student Event Security are the student workers in control of all event set-up and security aspects of the Lion's Pause.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Attend all security scheduling meetings
  • Learn proper use and maintenance of equipment
  • Set up, staff, and strike all events in the Lion's Pause and events using Pause equipment
  • Work shifts as determined in scheduling meetings
  • Observe all security-related bylaws and policy guidelines
  • Continue to hone tech skills throughout the year by coming to Security Manager's office hours, working shifts, and practicing during band slots or on own time
  • Maintain communication with the tech managers regarding equipment, environmental, interpersonal, or other concerns
