Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking, and following up on company-provided leads.
  • Conduct comprehensive on-site security and fire system walkthroughs to document client requirements and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Build accurate job cost estimates and formal proposals using our custom Field Service Management (FSM) platform, Quote Builder, and Labor Estimator tools.
  • Present technical solutions to clients, demonstrating the value of enterprise-grade security and IP networking infrastructure.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records, pipeline status, and sales activity within the company CRM.
  • Collaborate closely with the installation and service teams to ensure a seamless handoff from the sales process to successful deployment.
  • Provide ongoing post-sale support to maintain client relationships, promote retention, and identify upgrade opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably within at least one of the following fields: electronic security, fire alarm, or integrated technology industries.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-grade security and networking hardware (e.g., DMP, Hanwha, Ubiquiti, Honeywell) is highly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams to accurately assess project scopes.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly adapt to modern, cloud-based workflow applications and mobile CRM tools.
  • Strong understanding of basic IP networking, access control, and video surveillance concepts.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • DCJS certification or the ability to obtain one is required.
