Job description

Koniag Emerging Technologies, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Executive Assistant with a secret security clearance to support KET and our government customer at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. This is for a future new business opportunity.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • The Contractor shall provide a broad range of executive support to the Executive Staff of PM CAS. 
  • The Contractor shall provide executive support to Executive Staff with office management responsibilities, to include care of personnel records.
  • The Contractor shall execute projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials.
  •  The Contractor shall be responsible for the performance of all executive administrative support functions and associated managerial tasks for the Executive Staff.
  • The Contractor shall attend regular Executive Staff meetings, as required, and take meeting minutes as directed.
  • The Contractor shall coordinate various meetings and appointments on several sensitive issues for Executive Staff review / approval.
  • The Contractor shall analyze the need for, and coordinate resources, personnel, services, supplies, equipment, facilities maintenance, etc. needed for effective operation of the Executive Staff suites.
  • The Contractor shall relay Executive Staff direction of tasking PM CAS staff with necessary action and follow-through to ensure timely delivery of necessary support.
  • The Contractor shall analyze the need for procedures, suggest the approach, implement the process, and inform the Executive Staff.
  • The Contractor shall support staff actions, determine status, prioritize events, and provide comprehensive status briefs to the PM and DPM,
    and Executive Staff, as necessary.
  • The Contractor shall develop plans and information supporting Executive Staff participation
    and involvement in conferences, formal and informal appearances, and presentations.
  • The Contractor shall contact proponent parties, including representatives of host governments and organizations, to identify salient and latent issues bearing on discussions, and research background to ensure the Executive Staff has full awareness.
  •  The Contractor shall schedule appointments, coordinate meetings and conferences (on-site and off-site).
  • The Contractor shall make travel arrangements, rental car, hotel and flight reservations and complete travel orders / vouchers in the system of record, currently Defense Travel
    System (DTS).
  • The Contractor shall coordinate and facilitate video-teleconferences as required.
  • The Contractor shall develop read-ahead schedules, confirm receipt of read-ahead documents, provide pre-brief to PM and DPM, and answer specific questions pertaining to events and activities.
  • The Contractor shall handle telephone calls, messages, short-fused taskers, and office itineraries, to include requests for aircraft, arrangements for ground transportation, accommodations, office calls, briefings, and socials.
  • The Contractor shall review outgoing correspondence prepared by others for consistency with policy, regulations, as well as content, grammar, punctuation, and format.
  • The Contractor shall review, update and / or advise staff on various meSpace staffing packages for compliance with AR 25-50.
  • The Contractor shall draft correspondence on a variety of topics.
  • The Contractor maybe required to handle classified materials and / or matters of confidentiality and sensitivity.
  • Contractor shall compile a weekly Executive Summary (EXSUM) for submission to PM CAS leadership
  • Support personnel may not work remotely; support shall be provided on-site 100% each week.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
