Job Description
DWM Holdings is looking to fill a 2nd shift Helper position. This person reports directly to the Plant Manager and is a member of the company’s Production team.
Responsibilities:
• Works under direction from the Line Leader, performs job duties in a safe manner in accordance with DWM operational, safety and quality procedures
• Learn and apply the procedures for each task as per the instructions from the Line Leader.
• Visually identify and inspect finished products.
• Maintains and operates equipment in a safe manner.
• Completes work within expected periods of time.
• Has good attendance and punctuality.
• Keeps workspace clean in accordance to housekeeping standards.
• Performs other work as assigned by Line Leader or Production / QA Supervisor
• Proficient knowledge of OSHA standards, regulations, and safety loading practices
Skills and Competencies:
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and a consistent pace, with rotational direction.
• Quality focused, strives for high level of accuracy and completeness.
• Ability to learn new tasks and learn to operate basic production equipment.
• Strong observation skills, detail orientation, can catch errors or inconsistencies.
• Supportive team player
• Communicates well with all staff.
• Proficient in math and computer technology with the ability to learn new software programs.
• Able to handle multiple, complex priorities and balance the needs of each according to production material needs.
• Strong ability to learn and implement Lean manufacturing practices.
• Some heavy lifting maybe required; Able to walk, stand, bend, reach for entire work shift.
Hours:
Monday - Friday: 5:15 pm - 1:45 am or 3:45 am, depending on workload
Saturday: 1 pm - 7 pm
