What are the typical responsibilities of a Second Helper on a production or maintenance team?

As a Second Helper, you’ll usually assist skilled workers—such as mechanics, electricians, or machine operators—by preparing materials, handling tools, and performing basic tasks like cleaning work areas or transporting supplies. Second Helpers typically work on construction sites, factories, or maintenance teams and must follow safety procedures closely.

What is the best 2nd job to have?
