Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (i.e. product marketing, partner marketing, brand marketing, GTM, growth).
  • 2 years of experience in direct people management.
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects with external partners and technical and non-technical stakeholders.

In this critical leadership role, you will drive the marketing for a unique dual portfolio, you will advocate our iconic first-party (1P) Google Home and Nest hardware (e.g. cameras, doorbells, thermostats, speakers, smart displays, media streamers), while strategically scaling our "second-party," ecosystem, driving co-built devices, solution and subscription growth with global partners like Walmart (e.g. onn cameras) and AT&T (e.g. Connected Life security solution).

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team, fostering ownership, learning, and innovation while instilling an impact-driven mindset focused on influence, proactivity, and executional excellence, removing roadblocks and ensuring alignment between outputs and business objectives.
  • Partner with hardware and 2P leadership across product, product planning, growth, sales, insights, design, UX, and marketing to ensure portfolio fit, translating insights and market research/analysis into strategies that influence and guide product and feature roadmap decisions.
  • Oversee 1P hardware strategy, driving sales and subscriptions, while leading team execution of GTM campaigns and channels to ensure successful cross-portfolio launches.
  • Scale Home second-party reach by leading marketing strategies with partners, resellers, and retailers, and driving partner enablement through playbooks showcasing products, features and subscriptions, defining frameworks for positioning, value proposition, and co-branding to maximize adoption based on partner dynamic understanding the competitive landscape.
