Axis Industries is a leading provider of industrial and commercial products and services in San Antonio, TX. We are committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to our customers. As a growing company, we are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Driver to join our team.

Position Overview:

The CDL Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a commercial motor vehicle to transport goods and materials to and from various locations. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL license and a clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies

- Transport goods and materials to and from designated locations

- Inspect vehicle for defects before and after trips and report any issues to the maintenance team

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups

- Communicate with dispatch to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods

- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures

- Assist with loading and unloading of goods and materials as needed

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

- Keep vehicle clean and well-maintained

- Follow company policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications:

- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CDL driver

- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures

- Ability to lift and move heavy objects

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
